with my first child, I had to pump at full time, since it was in NICU for 3 1/2 months. If you have full-time pump in a similar case, I highly recommend you buy the double pump (which is the hospital grade pump) or rent one from the hospital. I assure you it's worth the extra money! If you are pumping as a supplement, I think this is perfectly fine. with my second child, we had to buy a handheld when I forgot my pumping equipment for a long journey. While I was pleased with it, you can get your hands on hard! This is much easier. I found it easier and better to pump one breast at a time, so only have one pump is a big problem for me. with my 2nd child, even with the option of double pumping, I mostly used one at a time. It is easier to massage the milk out. when double pumping, I had a great deal more pain and pulled muscles. I'm sure that's not the case with everyone though! It takes a little more time, too, so that might be a problem for you. a small cover gel comes with this pump you can put on the shield while pumping. I found that this thing is simply in the way. Suppose you add a massage, I think, but for me it adds too much mass. If you have trouble getting suction, try taking that thing out and see if it is better. My biggest advice with this pump is buying a larger bottle Avent pump! This is only 4 oz bottle. for me, that is not nearly enough. I received a large amount of milk though. I know that not all, but better safe than sorry in this case. :) (You could pour the milk into another container when it is full, but I assure you that it will get messy). In addition, you enjoy watching the smile playing around her lips and her eyes rolled back in his head as blissfully fills the belly. but you have to go back to work and there is a problem. you don't have an Office or a private nursing room for an eclectic pumpbesides, which has 300 dollars to spend on a pump anyway? I'm here to tell you that you can only get this manual pump, despite what the "experts" say. do not dry milk, and it is possible to pump once as many as you need. all you need is a bathroom stall and some persistence. This was my only pump for 8 months as a mom who works with my first child and I plan on using it for a year with my second. (I have two of these pumps, then one is always available.) First, some pointers on how to make sure you have good suction. 1 make sure that there is no way in preventing a good seal around the breast) 2 make sure that the plastic valve is securely attached and in good shape-better than wash it by hand 3) flexible plastic insert in the handle has a Matt cream colored background which must be aligned parallel to the handle. You may need to be adjusted when pumping-not a big deal. to use this as your main pump, you must combine it with compression of the breast while pumping. You can find pointers on the web, but basically when the milk flow slows slightly squeeze an area of your breast. you will see the flow immediately starts again. again, different compression until areas cannot be expressed without milk. It takes about 10-15 minutes to empty each breast. If the breast still feels firm or thick, keep pumping to encourage other milk let down. Read more ›

I can't say enough good things about this pump. I used it with 4 children now and it works wonders. pump ONLY, so that should be noticed while reading this review.. Pros:-more than any other, suction pump I used. I tried both electrical and manual pumps, and had most of the milk with this than even the electrical. I usually get the most milk in the morning, and by the time my children were about 3 months, I was once a 32 my first pump in the morning, with each pumping after the production of about 12-16 ounces during the day. I was pumping about 6 times a day on average at that point. I love the portability of pump easy to just put in your purse or diaper bag [large]. better me than carrying around a big bulky electric unit and pump. -It is very easy to use; I have used both with and without leaf insert. Cons:-the squeakiness. I discovered though (took me 3 children to figure out a good solution) that adding just a small amount of petroleum jelly does a great job of eliminating the Squeak. just put a small amount law where the parties are squeaking (in the middle of the pump where the handle attaches to the intake). other than that, it is very quiet (although each pump is going to make some amount of noisethankfully that do not get the "whaahhhh whhhhhhho" sound as an electric motor). -many parts. granted that most pumps have several parts to clean, this pump feel like you are working on a small project when putting it back together. Having said that, I must admit that I took apart every time I clean. usually just a few very hot soapy water worked out (with the occasional steam sterilization and take it apart to clean). This pump is awesome. a friend had given me the Medela double electric breast pump axis and everyone told me it was the best, but I didn't like it at all. hurt my nipples and was very uncomfortable, even with a larger flange and the lower pressure setting. the Avent breast pump is very comfortable and allows you to set the speed that I liked. It's super easy to clean and very portable. I went with single pump because I didn't want anything too bulky and is perfect. I have a 5 year old child at home with my baby, so I need something that is easy to use in a hurry as I pump and breastfeed in private. I needed something I could tote around to different rooms without having a huge bag or a ton of material. I like that it has a battery pack for great portability also. I highly recommend this pump-although this is not "hospital grade"-is a large pump. Some people have complained about in other reviews of entanglement in milk silicone cover-I don't see a big problem with that, it was a small amount of milk and didn't affect me at all.

I haven't had the best luck with finding a nursing bra. I tried the Medela for one day, it was not comfortable and the zipper broke after 2 uses. then I did the hack House and cut holes in my sports bra. I used it for 6 months. then, after returning to work in a few months and get tired of having to remove my shirt and BRA each time that I decided I needed a better way. me the bad experience with the Medela one off to purchase a pumping BRA, but I'm SUPER glad I gave this one a chance. I'll elaborate on what makes this better than the Medela and because I'm in love with it (I'm uploading a few pictures that help). the positives:-Perfect fit: this is what makes this the best bra out there. other positive factors are just a bonus. This had some different features that almost anyone will help you get fit. First, the back of the BRA has a Velcro Panel, so you can make it tighter or looser for perfect fit. I am a 36 d right now, ended up moving sides about an inch on each side and fits perfect! There is also a small section with a zipper on each side that you can collapse in the Middle. This will spread the nipple holes a little wider if the breast is further apart. I haven't used it in this Chamber, but I can imagine that it would be useful for some. with the Medela Pump bra there is no zones that you can adjust. According to their sizing chart, I was at the upper end of a medium. I was wondering if I should buy the great, but I thought I'd go with the one that said their size chart. It was a horrible fit! Medela has 6 different formats! It is very difficult to find the right size without going and try them. -flange: holes hold the cloth in place flanges has vertical and horizontal sections. they stay in place very well. before buying this set, I bought the piece sold by avent conversion. Avent set comes with bottles and one for containers. I found the container set useless for my needs, so essentially half of this purchase was a waste. In addition, the set of avent is meant for old style bottles that have the ring in it. This meant I always had some loss of milk on the upper lip of the bottle while pumping. rarely are able to retrieve that without shedding and hate wasting milk! These perfectly sets the new style bottles, and comes with two sets, so you can be clean and ready for use, while one is being washed. If you primarily use the new avent style, these are the best connectors.

as far as breast pumps, most of them are not so good. This is a life saver. I was able to get this for my sister and she swears by it. the fact that it is small, a little quiet and discreet is what she really sold on it. not only that, there are a lot of features that you can take advantage of here. There is also an element of this massage which helps with efficient pumping. many regulations are there for comfort and really deliver on lots of different levels. than the options of the past, this is a truly unique and innovative option. It is highly recommended for new moms. It is easy to use, convenient, quiet and has an abundance of features to exploit.

We use it with a pump of Spectra and these work well, much better milk bags that we used previously. two suggestions for improvement: 1. an area to write the date on with an erasable felt-tip pen. 2. ticks easier volume axis to make it easier to read how much milk was pumped into the bottle. In addition to this, these are great.

I always have to make sure that all materials must be silicone BPA free. and I like that Bellema products, make bottles of very good quality with sure quality. I'm obsessed with memory function. he saved my preferences and only makes easy every time I use it. overall, the engine is quiet, strong suction so convenient. is portable for sure, only the power with 4 AA batteries, and mom is free to go anywhere. This review is for Mango Plus: this is a perfect set of bump portable electric breast pump, which can also be powered by 4 AA batteries. How often that mothers are trapped at home with this thing in milking course. but I think with this set, mothers can travel anywhere. This Mango Plus package, I received a breast pump kit, engine air inlet pipe, 1 the storage bottle, bottle adapters, bottle, nipple base together, power supply and manual user. I turned on the engine, it was surprisingly quiet. I could barely hear any noise from it. definitely will not bother someone close to you at all. has a very clear LCD screen with digital light showing progress and options. the sucker, I like the softness of silicone is. It is absolutely the highest quality in my experience. It feels soft and comfortable. overall, I think that is well designed set with portable pump motor LED screen.

before I bought the Avent Isis pump (after reading the reviews) with the plan to pump occasionally. I tried to use it in the hospital, but could not draw a drop! Unfortunately I had a lot of problems breastfeeding (extreme pain) and decided to buy the Medela Pump in style so I could pump my milk and feed the baby from the bottle. This worked well for 3 months-I double pump for 15-20 minutes and get a total of 4-5 oz. the downside of Medela is it though is heavy to carry around, noisy and require electricity, so it is not very practical if you are traveling or out shopping for the day! Also, if you're pumping "League" double hands then if you are alone with the child and they retrieve a pacifier or answer the phone you must turn everything off, UN-attach the bottles (otherwise you tip easily) and get cleaned up! The Avent is much easier in this regard. I had tried the Avent again (after leaving the hospital), but still could not get more than a couple of drops, then reluctantly preparing to stop breast pumping altogether (before going on holiday) and return to the formula. Yesterday I decided to make one last attempt and after re-adjusting it on the breast a couple times I had incredible suction and pumped 2.5 oz from a breast in just 3 minutes. I think the trick is to really Press firmly against your breast (so it is airtight) and place the nipple in the Center. you need a couple of times to get it going (it feels a little uncomfortable), but then the milk really begins to flow. It took a second for me to finally discover this product. I don't know why it's so hard to find such a secret and apparently great. all nursing mothers using the Medela pumps and Avent should know this and use this. It allows you to use the Medela Breastpump directly in bottle Avent. fabulous! Significantly reduces the number of bottles washed and transfer of breast milk from a bottle to another. Every breastfeeding mother using Medela and Avent should have a pair of these! This is my favorite product for its absolute utility!! (You must buy two kits to convert two bottles). Tell all your friends.

I have 2 of these pumps and are great. I find it easy to useand I used for over a year. is the best hand pump on the market. I also have a pumpbut double electric Medela Pump N Style that I must say that the Avent Isis works equally well. alternate between the two types of pumps depending on my program. I keep my pump In style to Farel which is faster than either side of the pump to the oncebut that I use Avent Isis home and in weekendsor if I'm going to be away from the Office on business trips, fairs, or off site meetings. It is compact and small and easy to carry for the day or a trip, etc.. is comfortableyou a lot of control over the skid can express so much with this hand pump as I can with my electric pump. all Avent products are fantastic. I cannot recommend them more highly. My biggest Advice to anyone wanting breast pumps is don't buy anything sold by the formula manufacturersthey don't care if you are breastfeeding effectively. Medela and AVENT products are wonderful. This is the best absolute pump for the money. my friend Christine used her for over a year, and was the only pump workingit she possedevanoe that did great with it.

some information about me: my baby is 6 months and I have been pumping since he was about 3 months when I went back to work. I started with the Medela Symphony that I rented from the hospital and decided to buy a pump. I discovered that my insurance would cover the pump but after some research, I decided that I bought my pump rather than getting a Medela laptop based on reviews and feedback from other moms. my criteria for pumps was to find something that was portable, and affordable hospital type and all breast pumps from this Bill measure spectra. I currently own the M1 as well. I chose to buy the pump S1 primarily for rechargeable battery since it's more convenient for me at work where I have little time during my break. What I like about the S1: Spectra-aesthetically, this pump is super cute and a good size to put in tote I also purchased by Spectra. It has a nice handle to move the pump from one place to another and the LCD screen is a good size. -the pump is quiet, which is nice for those late night pumping sessions or at work. -is the final grade pump hospital-laptop unlike Medela Symphony does not require an electrical outlet to be near by. -Since I started using Spectra pumps in my fourth month, my diet has shown an increase, even when using the M1 which is a smaller pump than the Medela or S1. This is completely subjective, but I feel as it goes away from the Symphony, my increased supply and I had to use not galactagogues from any. I got this pump through my insurance company as a latest toy before concluding my journey pumping! I am actually female health provider and for years they thought was the best Medela, that was the brand that we used in the hospital, but now I have been suggesting the S2 to my patients. Medela is still a very good pump, but for the cost, comfort and a comparable product I think Spectra S2 is better. I need to pump efficiently and quickly. I am a working mom of three full-time. actually I was able to give my kids just EBM and donated thousands ounces of breast milk. I used the PISA Medela normal flanges and with freemie attachments, Medela freestyle and also the pump by Medela symphony hospital grade. Yes, I'm a hoarder pump, but it is 3-4 years of pumping. S2 Spectra: I started seeing a lot of advice from forum di mamma on this pump, so I was very intrigued. This pump definitely quieter and more comfortable. It is a grade pump hosptial, capable of single or double pumping. There are two opposite holes where you can connect the. flanges fit and comfortable. S2 is a closed system, that is a benefit to share with friends when done, resell or reuse. I saw that there is a way to "hack" and use medela pipes & flanges, but I had no reason to do so. shared most people did it b/c I want to be able to use all the extra medela provides. their tubing is more of a flexible silicone, so there is this round piece that falls apart and mugs together connecting the pipes to the flanges. I bought two bottles of Lifefactory child and then bought these. the bottles are only with a flat CAP that is held in place when it is closed with the nipple Cap. I know I would have lost that little piece when we travel, and I like having the ease of this hat. much easier to have a small screw cap to hold in your car than two pieces because the nipple plug is kind of big and flat CAP is so small.

This breast pump has been a God send. I started to pump not long after the birth of my son because of the convenience to have pre-made bottles when traveling. but I always had trouble finding enough milk as it seemed that I would love to have just a few ounces. I had a hand pump that I hated and soon was thrown and then I tried a Medela electric breast pump but still had the problem of not getting enough milk and was disappointed because the manual I had previously worked better and spent significantly more on the electric pump that has even less. Needless to say, I was frustrated. I'm worried that my son was not getting enough milk and nutrition to grow properly and while I am not against formula, I wanted to make sure my last resort after reading so many articles about the benefits of breastfeeding. from then on i tried all sorts of things! Lactation cookies, supplements, eating certain foods, drink tons of water, etc.. I was doing everything right and read every article I could find on the internet and while I saw some improvements (maybe an ounce or so) was insufficient. I ran trademark Bond of nature here and had an opportunity that was too good to pass up. I decided to put the past where it belonged and have another go and try an electric pump for the last time. After seeing many pictures of how bears a breastshield for fit, I thought that I should have to get a larger size. the pictures are very misleading! Sir, Buy the breastshield depending on the size of your nipples, not the size of your breast and areola! I now wear a 38 g (after giving birth to twins) and needed a smaller Cup size available. I noticed that my power supply took a huge hit when I used larger breast shields standard.. then tried the smallest size (one size smaller than standard) and my diet more than doubled. I went from 2-4 oz per session 6-8 oz per pump session.. These are very well made and they work very well, but will do you no good unless you get the correct size!! Also, for those of you pumping because your baby doesn't nurse-check out nipple protectors!

my experience was different than most. I have a very strong disappointment down and the original Duckbills hygeia don't work for me. When I use the original Duckbills by hygeia, my milk would get sucked into tubes. Every. Single. Time. It was so frustrating because I EBF and pump to maintain my power supply. These Duckbills, however, work perfectly for me. My milk sucked the pipes and help me to pump quickly and efficiently. I have the model of hygeia is given through the insurance, if that makes a difference.
